Setsuyo Astec Corporation was established in 1964. Since then, we have carried out aggressive sales activities rooted in the various countries and regions in Asia to fully meet the requirements of our customers while listening directly to their needs through our locations in these countries and regions.

In 1999, we became a part of the Mitsubishi Electric Group and undertake business centered on sale and servicing of Mitsubishi Electric’s products that support the development of social and basic infrastructure as well as the manufacturing industry in Asia’s countries and regions.

I would therefore like to extend my deepest gratitude to everybody who has provided us with their patronage and kindness throughout this period.

Of late, Asia, our business region, is gaining significant attention from industrial sectors around the world. The factory automation equipment, power distribution products, and semiconductors and electronic devices, and industrial materials that we handle are products that are indispensable to manufacturing, the pillar of industry. The roles and responsibilities that Setsuyo Astec has to fulfill have thus grown even larger.

In the future, we intend to expand our business beyond Asia, our current base of operations and pursue global business development. We will also further enhance our collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric and build on the track record and frontier spirit we have cultivated over the past 60 years to respond swiftly to the changing times and continue striving to be a company that contributes to the development of our customers and the region.
