Until now, we have conducted our business centered on supplying parts and materials from Japan mainly to Japanese-affiliated production bases making air-conditioners, elevators and the like in such countries as Thailand and China.
However, the currents of both community based and overseas procurement are accelerating, and customers are calling for new sources and often making inquiries to us.
An opportunity for us to gather information through our Asian base network and to present it to customers is increasing. In such business negotiations, there are possibilities that we are able to import and sell to new customers in Japan, rather than existing partners, and we realize that proposition becomes more important. To support customers, we continue to forward our activities, taking advantage of information sharing and communication among our channels.
