High quality, stable electric power is the cornerstone of society and industry. The East Asian region, where development has today been achieved, also struggled with the preparation of social infrastructure in the past. Along with our partners, we flew in to local areas to explain the necessity and superiority of products and contributed to the enhancement of social infrastructure and the development of industry.
And currently too, the region having become a major industrial center for high tech products, we are continuing to pursue activities in cohesion with the market to respond to the high level demands of our customers.
Meanwhile, in the various countries of Southeast Asia, there are regions where industrial infrastructure, including electrical power, is not yet sufficient and handling each and every item of business ranging from large-scale public projects to investments in local growth enterprises in detailed manners is being demanded. That is the path that we came along in the past. As might be expected, business starts from going to local areas to meet and talk with people face to face. We will expand the sites of our activities to every corner of Asia, not just growth markets, with the determination that we will contribute to growth.
