Setsuyo Astec Distributors and End Users Join Major Exhibition IIFES 2019(Jan 10th,2019updated)

The Innovative Industry Fair for E x E Solutions (IIFES) 2019 was held at Tokyo Big Sight over three days, from November 27 to 29, 2019. A total of 29 representatives from 20 companies—distributors of Setsuyo Astec FA/Power distribution equipment, major machine manufacturers, and end users—joined the event, where Setsuyo Astec staff provided guidance on the booths and exhibit items, focusing on the Mitsubishi Electric booth.

A major exhibition of cutting-edge technologies for automation and measurement, this year’s fair exhibited an array of related equipment, technology, and services under the theme of “Japan-born MONODZUKURI drives the future of global manufacturing.”

At the Mitsubishi Electric booth, we were able to showcase products and services connected with Mitsubishi Electric FA/Power distribution equipment, with a focus on practical solutions related to the more advanced FA-IT integrated solution e-F@ctory. The event was well received by the distributors and end users in attendance, who seemed to respond well.
Furthermore, prior to the exhibition, we held a product briefing session for customers visiting Japan inside our Head Office (Osaka), where we introduced the latest products from IMV Corporation and Soshin Electric Co., Ltd. At this event as well, we sensed that the customers had a strong interest in the products.

Booths Operated at FA Trade Fairs in Taiwan(Oct 2nd,2019updated)

Setsuyo Enterprise operated joint booths with Mitsubishi Electric Taiwan at the Taipei Int’l Industrial Automation Exhibition, Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robot Show, and Monitech Taiwan, which were held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in August 2019. Based on the themes of automation and IoT solutions delivered by e-F@ctory, we showcased Mitsubishi Electric’s CC-LINK IE TSN next-generation industrial open network, along with new products such as MELSERVO-J5, MELIPC, Edgecross, and robots, drawing in a large number of visitors.

In addition, we introduced case studies of e-F@ctory introductions and operated real exhibits of Mitsubishi FA equipment in our booth at Taipei Int’l Industrial Automation Exhibition, in collaboration with five e-F@ctory Alliance Partners and three business that have adopted Mitsubishi products.
During the exhibitions, our employees also gave lectures at the Taiwan Industrial Strategy Forum (Taipei Int’l Industrial Automation Exhibition) and the Smart Manufacturing Forum (Monitech Taiwan), which ended successfully as the presenters were approached in relation to events organized by businesses in each industry and industry associations, and by the media.

We will continue to contribute to the development of Taiwan’s industry through joint operations with our partners and business activities that leverage e-F@ctory and Mitsubishi Electric’s FA and power distribution/control equipment in the Taiwanese market.

Mitsubishi Electric and Setsuyo Astec Donates FA Systems to National Technical Training Institute (NTTI) in Cambodia(Jul 10th,2019updated)

On June 12, 2019, Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Systems Group and Setsuyo Astec donated Mitsubishi Electric FX sequencers and related software to six vocational training schools under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, Cambodia.
The donation was the result of a request from the Cambodia office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the provision of Mitsubishi Electric FA equipment, which has strong market demand, via a local sales distributor in order to substantiate and improve vocational training. The donation was made together with the cooperation of Mitsubishi Electric.

The donation ceremony was held at the NTTI Auditorium in Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh, and was attended by representatives of Cambodia's Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, JICA, the Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Cambodia, related universities, as well as Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and Setsuyo Astec, and the grand event was graced by the presence of about several dozen participants.

The donation of the equipment also includes technical training for instructors at six vocational training schools in order to create practical and efficient training environments for an estimated 4,000 students who study FA equipment technology every year.
It is our hope that these activities will contribute to industrial growth within Cambodia.

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation: Commendation and Commemorative Gift Presentation Ceremony for Vacuum Circuit Breaker Sales Expansion Activities(May 22nd,2019updated)

On March 29, 2019, the Power Distribution Systems Center (PDSC) of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation held a Commemorative Gift Presentation Ceremony to commend our Taiwanese distributors and the group within our company for their sales of Mitsubishi Electric vacuum circuit breakers (VCB) in the Taiwanese market.
At the Presentation Ceremony, Yoshio Ochi, Senior General Manager of the Power Distribution Systems Center of Mitsubishi Electric, presented a glass plaque to Mr. Yasuhiro Morita, Executive General Manager of our Sales Group in Setsuyo Astec.

The implementation of the CNS 15156-200 high-voltage board standard is currently being prepared in Taiwan, and our company is actively expanding its sales of PDSC VCBs that conform to this standard. We will continue to contribute to the development of Taiwanese industry through business activities related to Mitsubishi Electric power distribution and control equipment, including PDSC VCBs, in the Taiwanese market.

Mitsubishi Electric and Setsuyo Astec Donates FA Systems to the Institute of Technology of Cambodia(Mar 22nd,2019updated)

Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Systems Group and Setsuyo Astec presented sets of technical training materials of their Mitsubishi FX-PLCs, HMIs-GOTs, inverters, AC servo motors, motion controllers, energy-saving equipment, to the Institute of Technology of Cambodia on Jan 25th, 2019 and was held the donation ceremony on the same date.

The donation ceremony was attended by Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of CAMBODIA, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), university officials and students from the university, as well as, Mitsubishi Electric Asia and our company and the grand event was graced by the presence with about twenty several of participants.

The Institute of Technology of Cambodia, which is located in the capital of Phnom Penh, is the leading technological university in Cambodia.
By providing both theoretical education and practical training, university produces competent technical experts and contributes to the development of the industrial sector in Cambodia.

This has been for the first time the university received Mitsubishi Electric FA equipment.

Setsuyo Astec Joins DTG 2019 in Bangladesh(Feb 15th,2019updated)

The company jointly operated each booth with our local distributor, Progressive Engineering Corporation and Electro Mech Automation & Engineering Ltd. at the 16th Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG) held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka from January 9 to 12, 2019, showcasing Factory Automation Systems Group of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation equipment (PLCs, inverters, HMIs-GOT, and AC servos) and power distribution and control equipment (breakers and magnetic contactors).

The atmosphere within the booth remained upbeat throughout the event, attracting a large number of visitors.

DTG 2019 is an international exhibition for the textile and garment machinery industry in Bangladesh, and this year represented the 16th time that it has been held in Dhaka. The exhibition was participated by approximately 1,200 companies from 37 countries around the world and was attended by around 36,000 visitors, including those from overseas.

This represented the third time that we have operated a booth showcasing Mitsubishi Electric equipment at this exhibition, following on from 2016, 2018.
